Ingredients

What is bakuchiol?

Bakuchiol is a skincare ingredient derived from the babchi plant. It is often used as a retinoid-free alternative for people who want visible skincare support without using traditional retinol.

How is bakuchiol different from retinol?

Bakuchiol is not retinol and is not a retinoid. Published research has compared bakuchiol with retinol in the context of visible signs of aging and tolerance. HALENE uses that ingredient research as context, not as finished-product clinical proof.

Are HALENE products fragrance-free and retinoid-free?

Yes. HALENE products are formulated without added fragrance and without retinoids.

Is HALENE cruelty-free?

Yes. Neither HALENE nor our suppliers test on animals. We do not hold a third-party certification at this time.

What if my skin is sensitive?

Introduce one product at a time and patch test first. If you have a specific skin concern or are under a dermatologist's care, check with them before starting anything new.

The routine

How should I apply the routine?

No. 01 Serum and No. 02 Eye Cream morning and night, on clean skin. No. 03 Overnight Cream last thing at night. Wear SPF in the morning.

Do I need all three products?

No. Each product is formulated to stand on its own. The Routine bundles all three steps.

How long until I see results?

Visible skincare changes take time. The bakuchiol and retinol comparison study measured results at 12 weeks, so plan on using HALENE every day for at least that long.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

We ship within the United States, to all 50 states. We don't ship internationally yet.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more. Orders under $75 ship at the USPS rate shown at checkout. You will receive tracking by email when your order ships.

Returns

What is your return policy?

Unopened products can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. For hygiene reasons, opened products can't be returned. To start a return, email hello@shophalene.com with your order number.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Email hello@shophalene.com within 14 days and we'll make it right.
